Last Time:

“Because I don’t want you to hurt him,” Jeff said looking after Liu.

“Catch up slowpokes!” yelled I looking behind her shoulder; Spirit looked behind and let go of I’s hand and waved them over.

“Let’s catch up,” Jeff said walking faster, turning into a small jog.

“Hay! Just so you know I have no plans on making anyone’s life hell. I have sympathy, not hate,” Trender said feeling around the collar of his shirt, feeling the overlap of skin.

This Time:

“Account 27,” Spirit said pulling out a checkbook from her pocket. She refused to carry a purse because it’s practically useless. All her papers and information could be stored in her pocket. She had no driver’s license but she had a passport and a well known reputation. She pulled out her Passport and flipped to a page with crammed in papers. She pulled out one expertly and handed it to the man. He took the paper and walked off with a small sneer on his face. He seemed very self conceded as five people walked into the fancy car dealership. Jane walked over to a sleek looking car, not bothering to touch but a man stopped them and asked for ID. Jane pulled out her new passport and saw that her name was the same but her last name was different.

“So Miss. Jane Walker, what do you want here? You need at least six figures in your account before you can even think about entering,” the male said, his hand still on her passport. Trender walked up behind her and touched her shoulder.

“Is there a problem?” he asked. He was easily six foot five, perhaps seven foot; but because of his sheer size standing behind Jane, the male handed Jane back her passport and challenged Trender.

“And you sir, are you aware of what this is about?” he asked the tall male.

“I know I’m trying to get a car and if harassment ensues any longer, I will have to make sure your boss knows of me,” Spirit said, her patience wearing thin. The male salesman waved his hand and departed, going to talk to a customer not far away.

“I didn’t know we had that many rich people in the neighborhood,” Liu said watching the snobby male walk off. He was obviously not interested in the family of four and one more.

“Miss. Walker, I have confirmed your account. Is there anything in particular that you are looking for in your vehicle?” asked the male with the sneer. It seemed perfectly glued to his face.

“If you don’t wipe off that sneer you will have to answer to the legend,” Trender said softly from two cars away. He was showing Jane the interior of a brand new Porsche.

“Ignore him. I’m looking for a Lambo Urus,” she said matter of fact. The male scrunched up his nose, making him seem like a rat.

“We don’t have that model,” he said a male walking with a female talking very loudly over heard some of the conversation.

“A Lambo? What model?” the man asks, his aura pulsating control.

“A Urus. It’s a newer model and I know this place has it,” she said dragging her finger across the surface of one of the cars; her finger nearly leaving a very obvious mark of where it was. She pulled away her finger and examined the area where her finger was and put her finger near her lips. She smelled paint.

“You painted over the surface of this car, the paint is still wet,” she said looking at the male and then the wife. The male raised his eyebrow and looked at the sales clerk. The clerk’s face drained of all and any color. Spirit had him where she wanted him.

“Right this way Miss. Walker,” the man mentioned to the back of the car dealership and towards a underground parking garage.

“Paint was wet?” asked the male, letting go of his wife. Spirit smiled and held up her finger that had red paint on it similar to the car.

“Paint is wet, causing fumes in the air and possibly very dangerous sales. It can cause the company to go under,” Trender commented, his once happy face was now stern and serious with a dark aura.

“True, but I’m sure the manager will realize his mistake in the matter of moments,” said Jeff pointing to a male going and knocking on a heavily ornate door.

“True; pleasure to meet you here Miss. Walker. I have heard of your influence on this small community. My name is Mr. Jung, Jamison Jung. I’m sure you may recall me. My father is Mr. Jung and my mother is said to know your grandmother when she was young,” he said walking with the rest of the group.

“Pleasure is mine, Mr. Jung and Ms. Plearson. I was not aware that you two had gotten together,” said Spirit keeping herself as professional as possible. She was in a loose white tee and faded jeans. Her hair was matted and worn out and looked bad. She looked in bad shape and it made it seem like she was a middle class worker. She was surrounded by people in nice clothing, obviously tailor made by one of the richest men in the city.

Trender smiled as he looked at his phone. He was glad to have this extra time to set his plan into action. He dialed one number let it ring twice and hung up. He then put his phone back into his pocket. He wrapped his long arms around Jane and Liu who he seemed to sympathize with. He liked feeling close to Cadence’s family, he felt as if his own little family was expanding past his three other brothers. He pulled down on his shirt as they entered the garage and was shown a SUV.

The sleek red design gave away the form of a Lamborghini but the thickness of the tires, the heavy weight that gave the SUV its title. Mr. Jung whistled and Spirit smiled. She opened the door and it opened to something that Portal or Portal 2 would like. The interior was cameo appearance, with white cushions and a lot of leg room. Jeff walked over to the passenger side and opened the door. He ran his hand over the seat before gently lifting himself inside. He felt the plush cushion beneath him give and he sighed in relief.

“I like this car,” he said liking the way it felt against him. Spirit lifted herself into the driver’s seat and she put her hands on the wheel. She knew this is what she wanted.

“Hop in kids!” she mentioned for Liu and Jane to get in. Trender smiled and slipped in next to Jane.

“This is very cozy,” Liu said feeling the interior.

“Max speed being about three hundred m-p-h, the sleek design and it’s what I’ve been looking for, for years,” she said messing with the stereo.

“Miss, shall we discuss the payment plan?” asked the male and Spirit looked at the rat man.

“Consider it paid in full,” she said and she exited the car and handed him a few other slips of paper and she smiled at the rest of her ‘family’.

“We are now proud owners of a Urus,” she said.

“Tell me Miss. Walker, when did you get a family?” asked Ms. Plearson.

“I received the kids because I’m now a registered foster parent,” she said to the lady in the skinny dress.

“I never would’ve pegged you to be a mother,” Mr. Juan said holding onto his lady a bit tighter.

“Well Jay and I here make a team despite us not being married so we will continue to work together and we will make sure these kids get the correct education. Speaking of education, can you do me a favor?” she asked the male and he smiled and laughed.

“I can enroll them for the academy no problem. When do you think they will be ready?” he asked.

“When I get the paperwork in and hopefully at the end of ‘Mourn Week’,” she said to him he nodded and his eyes were downcast.

Spirit looked bad bringing up the week of ‘school holiday’, “I’m sorry Juan. I am, especially about your cousin, Margret.”

“She was a lovely lady and very kind. Father cast her aside saying she deserved nothing. She made it by with that one man though. But she just dropped off the map until a week ago where I learned that, she, her husband, and her children were killed,” he said.

“Would you like us to join you for the funeral?” Spirit asked looking at him while the man reappeared with keys to her brand new car.

“I would love it if you joined us,” he said looking at her his eyes bright.

“We will see you when?” Spirit asked making a mental note.

“Two days from now we will hold an empty coffin. She had her official funeral weeks ago. You know, it’s said that her youngest son killed the whole family? Also, it’s said that the elder wasn’t found, his body said to be nothing but ash on the ground in that house,” he said to her thinking of where the younger son could’ve gone.

Spirit looked over to Jeff and the weight of his doings settled in on him. He killed a part of discarded family. He had killed his own mother, father, and brother. But now he was trying to make up for it, but something about it made it seem like it was always going to be around his neck, waiting for him to choke.

“I heard that some unknown donor put Margret in her place. You wouldn’t happen to know who that is?” he asked her and Spirit shrugged and put the key’s in the engine.

“If I knew, they made me promise not to tell,” She said with a smirk and waved as she zoomed out of the garage.

“Are we going to the funeral?” asked Jane wondering who this man was and who Margret was.

“Only if you want to; I will not force you to go if you do not want to. Although I believe it will be beneficial in placing you in the upper ranks of Status and get you guys on good footing with the community,” she said driving with some of the windows down.

“Oh! Cadence, can you drop me off at the office? I drove today,” Trender asked looking as she was going to go past the building where she worked. The city was bigger than Liu and Jane had anticipated. One thing Jeff knew was that the city didn’t end until the forest began. It was three small cities surrounding one large one.

“Sure, I can do that,” Spirit said zooming around a corner and coming to a smooth stop at the building entrance.

“Also, enjoy your home!” Trender said yelling after Spirit as he entered the large corporate office.

“What did he mean by that?” Jeff asked Spirit. He looked back at the blond haired woman who’s eyes were narrowed and calculating. She quickly shifted the car to drive and tore out of the corporate office as if there was a house fire she needed to get to. She drove towards the outskirts of the town to the north and drove until she saw the forest. She took a road that winded up a hill and came close to the forest.

“We’re on Summer Street,” Jeff said mindlessly. He knew Summer Street was the closest street to Slenderman’s mansion. A small dirt path was between a small opening of trees and Spirit slowed just enough to make the turn safely. She pulled forward and before the three awe struck strangers was a large, old house.

White paint covered the outside looking white and not sun bleached. Dark trim and a solid stone foundation were beautiful. One side of the house had large ivy climbing alongside what appeared to be some wild flowers with white, purple and red hues. The color on the white house was welcome but what caught Jeff’s attention was the back patio. It was a large area with huge windows that were all open to the forces of nature. The windows faced the forest where there was a small dip in the hill off to the right. Many layers and different ages of trees were layered into the hillside. It appeared to be mostly cut, but just enough to where the long grass was starting. One very large, very old, very flourished Willow tree stood between the edge of the forest and house. The dying sunlight made the Willow seem like it was on fire at the very top.

“Welcome home,” Spirit said turning off the car and opening the door of her car and walking towards the willow. She placed her hand on it and smiled.

“I’m home old friend,” she said and waited for Jane to catch up, Liu and Jeff didn’t care much about the large tree, but Jane seemed to be inspired.

“This is all yours?” asked Liu looking more at the house.

“Yeah, I had people come over and open the windows because it might be stuffy in there,” Spirit said grabbing a key from the layers of the bark.

“When was the last time you were inside the house?” asked Jeff looking at Spirit as if she wasn’t a house keeping type.

“Last time? I would have to say three years ago. I don’t trust many people to go in and take care of it,” she said walking up to the covered porch and sticking the key inside the lock and seeing how easily it turned. She opened the door and let Jeff take the first step inside. He walked in and saw plush carpet along with a dining table, four comfy chairs, extra plates, a radio and two loveseat couches with a small stained glass table.

“Cozy,” Jeff said looking at everything, Liu and Jane inhaled deeply, smelling cleaning products, clean fresh air, and some stiff and stale unmoving ‘thing’.

“Well, let’s check the inside,” Spirit said opening the sliding glass door to a very large entertainment area and an open kitchen. The kitchen was off to the left and the stairs to upstairs were past the large opening called a living room, to the right. The stairs softly curved towards the right and up to a room with a scarf hanging on the door knob. Liu was in awe by the space. The space between the upstairs roof and the ground floor was framed by a giant crystal chandelier. The front doors were large and wooden on the inside while Liu remembered a modest outside.

“What kind of house is this?” Liu asked seeing how a plush white, fake fur carpet was placed as bases for the start and end of the living room.

“A house that has the touch of a woman who is hardly ever here,” Spirit confessed taking off her shoes and putting on some slippers that were close by. She walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge to see expired yogurt and freezer burned meat. She was going to have to go shopping tomorrow. Thank goodness it was Saturday.

“I’m going to go explore,” Jane said walking towards the stairs.

“Just don’t go down into the basement,” Spirit warned and Jane waved. Spirit shut the fridge and looked at the pile of papers on the counter. Electric, gas, water were the only ones, and they looked months old, thank goodness they were opened. Trender must’ve paid the bills again, thank glob for that man.

Jane walked beside Liu and watched as Jay traveled off to what appeared to be a washroom. Jane walked up the silent steps and opened the door with the scarf on it. The room opened to a large king sized bed with black and white patterns and multi-colored pillows. Jane whistled as she noticed a thick quilted rug in the shape of a phoenix, blue and red flames coming from the tails. A large bookshelf rested against the wall opposite from the bed with videogames and games resting on the floor.

There was another door to the left of the main door, and it opened to a large bathroom with another door that led to another room. The other room was filled with purples and blacks except the pillows. The pillows were bright yellow that matched a sun and moon rug on the floor, quilted like the phoenix rug; a similar looking bookshelf but instead of video games, there were many different kinds of books. Most of the books were teen romance with supernatural creatures, most titles that Jane have never read, or even heard of. She did notice a laptop on top of the bookshelf along with a journal with a custom lock.

“I take it this is my room,” she said to herself picking up the Journal; purple words on the cover had her original name down; Jane Arkensaw.

“I have to admit, this is a pretty sweet room,” Liu said flopping down onto the bed, smoke sloshing sound came to Jane’s ears and she recognized it as a water bed.

“I didn’t even know they made water beds anymore,” Jane said.

“They tend not to,” Jay said standing in the doorway to the hall, the door open inwards. Jane turned and smiled at Jay. He was handsome and she could imagine that male carrying her out of the house.

“Why not?” asked Liu sitting up.

“I have no idea, guess they aren’t popular anymore,” Jay said looking at Jane’s journal that she was still holding. Her arms crossed over her chest, holding the book close made her look like a school girl.

“Where is your room?” asked Jane looking at Jeff. The older male raised his eyebrows and shoved himself and turned around and saw a knife sticking out of one of the doors. Jane followed behind the attractive male and Liu clumsily got out of the water bed.

Liu walked behind Jane and felt his eyes drift down. He felt his cheeks heat up as he watched her sway. She was natural about it and she was round and plump. She was wonderful and round without defying gravity or sagging. She wasn’t jiggling on every step like other females did but it was firm and large.

“Eye’s up,” whispered Spirit into Liu’s ear. He squeaked and his eyes darted up and behind him. His hand flew to his ear while he processed the smirk on her face. Jay walked into his room and he could hear faint talking but Liu’s attention was focused on Spirit.

“I wasn’t doing anything,” Liu said trying to hide the fact that he was caught red handed.

“It’s okay Liu, I won’t tell her, but what you need to do is make sure your not being watched yourself. But she does have a nice butt,” Spirit said looking at the doorway where Jane and Jay had disappeared.  Liu frowned and sucked in breath nice and hard.

“Wait, does that mean you were looking too?” Liu confronted.

“Well, she does have a ‘dat ass’,” Spirit winked at Liu, making the teen blush.

“Wow, this house is great!” called Jane from Jeff’s room. Jeff was looking into a highly diverse closet with many different colors and different types of clothing. Jackets, jeans, pajamas, socks, shoes, underwear, everything needed for clothing and fashion. It was immense, colorful and unique. His closet was large and a walk-in allowing him to view the wide array of clothing.

“I saw a similar closet in my room,” Liu mumbled before moving away and running to his room and tearing open the closet door and seeing something similar. He ghosted his hands over the scarves and jackets. He shrugged off his tight leather jacket and pulled on a black and white cloth jacket. He looked and saw a small full length mirror and he turned seeing himself. He unwrapped the scarf and felt exposed.

“Liu?” asked Jane standing at the entrance to the closet. Jane’s eyes were filled with worry, the brown in her eyes showing through.

“You know, this closet is about the same size as my old room,” Liu said looking around, his eyes not focusing on anything.

“I’m sorry,” she said and moved to the inside of his closet. He gripped the scarf and wrapped it back around and looked into the mirror.

“I like the leather jacket better,” Jane added and Liu chuckled and smiled at her from the mirror.

“I have to agree.”
